Catherine Dean
Catherine is a dedicated and compassionate yoga teacher, who explores
a variety of teaching techniques. She has a B.Sc Hons in
Environmental Health and is also a certified fitness instructor and
has over 6 years teaching experience. Catherine’s knowledge base is
extensive, she teaches with a strong focus on safety, proper
alignment, breath control and the intuitive flow of the asanas.
Students are taught to move gracefully and effortlessly from one
asana to another. The asanas dissolve into one another with grace and
natural logic, flowing organically and symbolizing the natural flow
of life, while “safely” in the postures students are encouraged to
connect with their breath, practice stillness and cultivate awareness
of thoughts, feelings and emotions. Students can expect, deep tissue
release, assisted stretching, guided breath extension, (pranayama),
deep relaxation and meditation. Suitable for beginners or more
advanced students. A class with Catherine will rejuvenate your
physical body, discipline your mind and awaken your spirit.
